Mr. Moore met my daughter quite by accident. I would call it divine intervention. My daughter is a student at the high school Mr. Moore teaches in. She is incredibly bright and hard-working. She is also on the autism spectrum. She can have difficulties handling her emotions and gets easily frustrated and overwhelmed. Mr. Moore was never formally my daughter's teacher. However, Mr. Moore's compassionate nature cannot ignore anyone who is distressed. He took the time to get to know my daughter and see her in a way no other teacher has.

Mr. Moore has brought out the very best in my child. He quickly discovered and nurtured my daughter's musical talents. Mr. Moore was so enthusiastic and engaged with my daughter's musical development that he did in an instant what I had been trying to do for years...he built her confidence so much so that now, my daughter has finally begun to embrace her gift. She has decided to pursue music as a major in college and I could not be happier for her. And I could not be more grateful to Mr. Moore for the breakthroughs he was able to achieve with my precious child. 

Mr. Moore is highly versed in the field of music. My daughter, while musically gifted, has virtually no experience in the area of music composition. An original work of music was required for a scholarship and I knew who to call. While Mr. Moore is a busy person, he immediately made time to help my daughter. In a matter of hours, he taught my daughter how to use a music program and my daughter was able to convert the beautiful composition in her head into a tangible work of art. Mr. Moore's talent for music as well as his gift for working with young people made a task that could have potentially been daunting into something seamless, enjoyable and awe-inspiring. 

As I mentioned earlier, my daughter is on the autism spectrum. She has had many intervention services over the years, including therapists and meetings with school personnel. No one has had the calming effect on my daughter like Mr. Moore has had. I believe he has been anointed to understand the difficulties of others and help guide them through the hardest of situations. Mr. Moore's impact on my daughter's life was more than offering support and guidance; Mr. Moore has, without a doubt, changed the course of my daughter's life in all the best ways possible. She is now brimming with confidence, allowing her creativity to flow through and and believing in the brilliance of her future. 

There is not a price that can be paid to Mr. Moore for all he has done. He has gone beyond the call of duty and frankly, bestowed a blessing on the life of my child and consequently, my entire family. Everything I knew was in my daughter, Mr. Moore has been able to bring out in the smoothest, gentlest way imaginable. He is absolutely brilliant in his ability to work with young people. I wish that not only all teachers could be like Mr. Moore; I wish all human beings could be like him. I trust Mr. Moore without hesitation or reservation. He will always have the best interest of my child first and foremost. Mr. Moore has been an absolute Godsend and the answer to one of my most profound and heartfelt prayers. Words cannot express how deeply my appreciation runs. I will never tire of saying "thank you" for the amazing work he has done with my most valuable treasure...my beloved child. Believe me when I say that you will thank your lucky stars for Mr. Moore and wish you had found him sooner. Martha M.
